As a team leader in Polsinelli’ s real estate and project finance practices, Mr. Reimers leads a multi-disciplinary team in developing innovative project financings and optimized solutions for large real estate portfolios, infrastructure and other projects.
Mr. Reimers has experience assisting hospitals and health care systems, airports, ports, utility districts, cities, counties, schools, high-speed rail, the State of California and its various agencies, as well as investors acquiring, managing and developing their real estate and other infrastructure assets, raising capital and financing projects. Mr. Reimers has extensive experience in real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions and dispositions; joint ventures and syndications; sale-leaseback transactions; complex financings on the behalf of lenders and borrowers; leasing (with an emphasis on health care leasing); and loan restructuring and strategic solutions. Much of Mr. Reimers’ real estate practice focuses on health care organizations. He is adept at addressing the complex regulatory issues facing the health care industry that intersect with real estate and finance transactions.
Mr. Reimers received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Riverside and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Connecticut.
Mr. Reimers is a 2005 graduate of Leadership L.A., a member of American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA), National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL) and Airports Council International – North America. He volunteers his time to Maranatha High School’s Business Affairs Committee, the Southern California Leadership Network and the Pasadena Athletic Association.
