Azar Zaidi has been working with doctor‐founded models consulting on support services such as operations, real estate, marketing, information technology and more for over 17 years. Early is his career, Azar founded Turn Around Management Group to advise independent private practices. After growing to serve over 100 dental clients across the country it was acquired by The Levin Group, a larger dental practice management firm, where he joined as a managing partner. Azar next joined Pacific Dental Services, where he helped lead the market development and specialties division. With his guidance, Pacific grew from 160 locations to over 700 locations across 22 states.
In his last year with Pacific Dental Services, in which they opened over 92 new locations and achieved over $1 billion in revenue, Azar recognized there was a need to build a differentiated model within the space. He now serves as the founder of the Healthcare Advisory Shop, where he advises as an operating executive on transactions within the healthcare sector and Chief Operations Officer of Lydian Dental. Lydian is creating the aspirational brand within the dental industry. They are using great design, strong company culture, and an innovative business model to re‐invent the dental experience.
