Ken joined BKD Corporate Finance, LLC in 2016 and advises clients and executes corporate finance engagements, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), debt and equity financing and strategic financial advisory services for companies in the Gulf Coast region.

He has more than 30 years of corporate finance experience as an investment and commercial banker and investor. Ken has executed more than $2 billion in M&A and capital-raising transactions for clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, energy, business services, building materials and medical devices.

In 2004, Ken co-founded a boutique investment bank headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, that provides financial advisory services to middle-market clients. In addition to advising clients, he managed the firm’s capital-raising practice, and in 2011, Ken opened the firm’s Dallas office. In 2012, he joined a special situations investment bank focused on the energy sector as a partner and managing director.

He serves on the executive leadership board of The First Tee of Greater Dallas and is a member of Leadership Dallas Class of 2013 and Leadership Cleveland Class of 2009.

Ken is a 1983 graduate of Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio, with a B.A. degree in economics, and a 1987 graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Illinois, with an M.B.A. degree with a concentration in finance.
