Kayla is a member of BKD National Health Care Group. She has more than ten years of experience, all with BKD, providing audit services to health care providers, including proprietary nursing facilities, private equity backed healthcare entities, physician practice management entities, hospitals, and health systems. Her technical knowledge includes auditing and assisting with complex corporate structures, acquisitions and mergers, and reimbursement complexities faced by privately held healthcare companies.
She is a 2012 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a B.B.A. degree in accounting and an M.Acc. degree.
